Radio Simba Uganda (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the Radio Simba mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.
1. Information We Collect
We do not directly collect personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number through the App.
However, the following information may be collected automatically:
- Device information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
- Usage data: Pages visited within the App, time spent, and interactions with content.
- Location data: General location (country/region) for ad targeting purposes. We do not collect precise GPS location.
- Advertising data: Ad interaction data collected by Google AdMob (see below).
2. Advertising – Google AdMob
Our App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use data to serve personalized ads based on your interests. This includes:
- Advertising ID (Google Advertising ID)
- General location information
- App usage and interaction data

3. How We Use Your Information
The information collected is used to:
- Provide and improve the App experience
- Display relevant advertisements through Google AdMob
- Analyze App usage to improve performance
- Stream live radio content from Radio Simba 97.3 FM
4. Third-Party Services
Our App integrates the following third-party services which have their own privacy policies:
- Google AdMob – Advertising: Google Privacy Policy
- YouTube – Video content: YouTube Privacy Policy
- WordPress REST API – News and content from radiosimba.ug
5. Data Retention
We do not store personal data on our servers. Any data collected through AdMob or analytics services is retained according to Google’s data retention policies.
6. Children’s Privacy
Our App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
7. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date.
