MPs barred from travelling to allow quorum for constitutional reform bill debate.

Deputy Speaker Jacob Oulanyah has
halted all the parliamentary
committee work and travels for the
next four sittings of Parliament to
make time for members of Parliament
to debate the Constitutional
Amendments Bill.
Oulanyah made the directive after
failing to raise the mandatory two
thirds of members of parliament for
the second time on Wednesday.
The Clerk of Parliament has also
been directed to make media
announcements and communicate to
all the 385 MPs to be present in the
house on Tuesday next week
purposely to work on the electoral
reforms that are important in the
forth coming general elections.
