One Shot Dead in Luweero

Police in Luweero is hunting for a group of armed robbers who last night shot dead a man in a village called Kibanyi in Bamunanika Sub County.
The deceased identified as Sekirevu Stanley a resident of Kawempe in Kampala is said to have been riding a motorcycle when he bumped into an illegal roadblock mounted by the suspected thugs.
Police spokesperson for Savannah region Lameck Kigozi says the deceased was taking his daughter to be prayed for at a church in Bamunanika when he met his assailants who also made off with his motorcycle and abandoned the girl at the scene of the incident.
