NRM aspirants start Picking nominations forms today

NRM members aspiring for different elective positions have began picking Nomination forms at the party secretariat kyadondo road.
The elective positions include MPs, LC5, Lord Mayor, President, National Chairperson and vice chairpersons posts will be conducted upon paying a fee.

In Short.
The party has introduced nomination fees for all post with Presidential aspirants paying sh10m, MP sh2m, LCV sh1m and LC 1 sh10, 000.
The aspirants are required to pay the prescribed amounts at centenary bank before picking the forms.
According to the NRM party’s electoral commission chairman Tanga Odoi, presidential and parliamentary aspirants shall pick nomination forms in person from Plot10, Kyadondo Road and must present certified copies of academic papers before picking forms.

The NRM electoral commission Legal adviser Murungi Mubaraq has told us that they have put in place enough measures to weed out those who present forged academic documents for nominations.
In the past National elections, the NRM party flag bearers have suffered several legal battles in court challenging their academic credentials and some have been thrown out of their elective positions.
