M7 TO RETURN EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FORMS FOR NRM PRESIDENTIAL FLAG BEARER

Developing story

President Museveni is today expected to return the expression of interest forms which he picked recently for the  position of the NRM chairperson and NRM presidential Flag bearer in the 2016 forth coming general elections.

The president will in exchange be given nomination forms for the position he is currently unopposed.

Today is the deadline for all NRM aspirants to return nomination forms.

The party streasurer Rosemary Namayanja is also addressing a news conference where the party is faulting former prime minister John Patrick Amama Mbabazi for wanting to contest as an independent candidate while he is a card holding member of the party.

Amama Mbabazi who picked nomination papers from the national electoral commission early this week said he was not leaving NRM but that he was seeking to contest outside NRM structure.

We will keep you posted.
