EALA drafts corruption bills.

The East African Legislative Assembly (EALA)
has drafted three bills to help in the fight against
corruption in the East African Community (EAC).
They include; the East African Community and
Anti-Corruption Bill 2015, The East African
Community Procurement Bill 2015 and the East
African Community Whistleblowers Bill 2015.
EALA speaker Daniel Kidega while addressing the
9th annual general meeting of the East African
Association of Anti-corruption Authorities
yesterday in Entebbe said it was time for the
region to invoke ethical and integrity standards.
He also said that there is need to recover assets
gained through corrupt means.
