Mbabazi Doesn’t Have support- Says Hon Anite.

Youth Minister Hon Evelyn Anite who is also the promoter of President Museveni’s single candidature has said that Presidential hopeful Amama Mbabazi doesn’t have support at all.

“I have been moving all around the country but i have not found any sound youth supporting Amama Mbabazi, even the Omodo Omodo’s who were with him earlier have deserted him” said Evelyn Anite.

she has however sarcastically welcomed Amamba Mbabazi’s move to contest for presidency as an independent candidate.

Anite has been speaking to the press while at NRM secretariat ahead of President Museveni’s visit to pick nomination forms friday afternoon.

When contacted, NRM Deputy spokesperson Ofwono Opondo lashed at Mbabazi adding that he doesn’t have any support.

“We have been registering aspirants and we have registered almost all the NRM Mp’s which means none if them supports Amama, let him go on we shall meet in the campaigns just months away” said Opondo.
