Foot and mouth disease enters Nakaseke.

Foot and Mouth disease has spread to

Nakaseke from Nakasongola district

and so far about 800 heads of cattle in

five sub-counties have been affected

since the start of August.

Nakaseke district has approved a

supplementary budget of Shs5 million

towards the treatment, but the

Veterinary Office says it needs, and

had requested, for Shs30 million.
