Father tortures a one year old girl

Police is hunting for Fred Kasoni, father to a one year old [unnamed] girl, who was tortured to near death at their home in Entebbe Katabi in Wakiso district. Kasoni, reportedly married another wife after separating with the girl’s mother and since then, he and Justin Babirye the step mother have been torturing the young girl. Concerned area residents after confronting the two parents for some time on how they treat the little girl, yesterday 20th May, reported the matter to police and investigations have so far revealed that the girl was severely burnt in her private parts and she had lots of bruises allover her body. According to Patrick Onyango the police spokesperson Kampala metropolitan, Kasoni is still on the run, but Babirye has been arrested and the two if found guilty will face the law. Meanwhile the young girl has been taken to Mulago national referral hospital where she is undergoing medical attention.
