Besigye fears being
poisoned every time he
is incarcerated.
FDC party presidential flag bearer Dr.
KIzza Besigye has revealed that
whenever he is incarcerated, the fear
of being poisoned looms large.
On Thursday, the police arrested
Besigye for the umpteenth time as he
attempted to leave his home for a
consultative meeting in the eastern
district of Jinja and was held at
Nagalama police station for the better
part of the day.
Besigye says that every time he is
held in different police stations and
prisons his constant fear is that one
day he will be poisoned in order to
silence him forever.
