Matayo Kyaligonza claims he has
received reports that his rival for the
NRM Western region vice-chairperson
position, Odrek Rwabwogo, was sent
by a member of the first family to
unseat him. However, Kyaligonza
says he is yet to verify these claims.
He also denied a newspaper story
which claimed he is backing former
premier Amama Mbabazi. Rwabwogo
who is the president’s son in law
claims he wants to rekindle NRM’s
support at the grassroots.
