Police speakout on MUK slain student

The Police have come out to clarify on the conflicting media reports alleged murder of Imalingat Ibrahim, a Third year Mulago Paramedical School student, that took place on Saturday 10 05.2015. Police spokesperson Fred Enanga says they are still interviewing witnesses, but dismissed claims that the key suspects were a group of area crime preventers. Enanga adds that Imalingat and a colleague were returning from a party for the West Nile Students Association, when they were confronted by the assailants, at Mulago playfield and they fled in different directions, the friend towards Gadaffi hostel, while the victim ran towards the TASO block with the attackers behind him. Police says they are still patching together evidence to link or delink the suspects from the alleged murder who are still held at Wandegeya Police.
