Makerere University Chancellor Professor Mondo Kagonyera wants National water and Sewage corporation given duty to also distribute water for production.

Prof. Kagonyera explains that water for production like Agriculture and Farming if availed would go a long way in arresting food shortages and poverty that have become identities of Uganda.

He suggests that since National water and Sewage corporation has distributed clean water to over 100 regions in Uganda, it has the capacity to provide the same for Production.

He said this while addressing a leadership conference organised by Makerere University Business School (MUBS).
