Netball World Cup
Australian “Diamonds” have retained
the Netball World Cup after beating
New Zealand by 58 to 55 goals in the
final played at the Alphonse stadium in
Sydney.
The victory marks the third
straight world cup title for Australia
following the previous wins in 2007
and 2011.Uganda once again lost to
Wales by 64 to 41 goals to finish
eighth in the world and third in Africa.
