Youths demand for accountability of youth lively program

Youths under Youth Advocacy Foundation Uganda YAFU have stormed the ministry of Gender Labor and Social Development demanding for accountability of the money under the youth lively programme. Speaking to the media YAFU Team Leader Akampa Johnson said they have collaborated with other youths in different regions who feel that this money is not fully utilized. Akampa further says they have received complaints that some of the youth leaders connive with civil servants to steal youth lively hood money which denies an opportunity to youth to fight unemployment. He emphasizes that the minister for youth should demand accountability from town clerks, Youth Leaders and Sub county Chiefs because these are saboteurs of this project.
