Workers at Parliamentary canteen lay down tools .

Workers of a company contracted by parliament to provide catering services at Parliamentary canteen have laid down their tools protesting non payment of their salaries for up to 8 months.
The over 25 employees of NINATS INVESTMENTS accuse their manager Veronica Katusiime of luring them from restaurants and hotels within the city with a promise of better pay which has turned out to be a hoax.
One of them who preferred not to be ,identified says many of them have failed to meet their subsistence expenses such as rent and other family responsibilities .
