Women under different Civil Society organisations are worried about the violence likely to happen in the next elections.

Women under different Civil Society organisations are worried about the violence that is likely to happen during the next elections given the different militia groups that are being formed by different politians a head of these elections.

Speaking in a joint conference held at Forum for women in Democracy (FOWEDE) offices in Ntinda, women have expressed their fear about these youth groups that are likely to turn brutal at time of election and the most parties to suffer here are the women.

Speaking on behalf of other, the Director for Programs at FOWEDE Sofia Kyagulanyi says they are calling for environment of peace, calm and freedom to campaign and equal participation of all people in campaigns without fear.
