URA Holds Cameroons Coton SportSport

Ugandan representatives in the Caf Champions League, URA, managed a frantic goalless draw away to Cameroon’s Coton Sport on Sunday to give themselves a good chance in the second leg, which takes place in KAMPALA two weeks from now.

This result is encouraging,  especially if you consider that they were beaten 3-0 in a similar encounter in 2007. URA goalkeeper Allan Owiny, had an excellent game with a couple of saves to his credit and was instrumental to the visitors keeping a clean sheet.

Benson Ociti, who had a penalty shout turned down in one of URA’s occasional breaks in the second half, also led the line commendably, albeit, with limited supply. The return leg is due in the first week of March.
