Ugandans given ultimatum over unpicked national ID’s.

Over 2.5 million national identity cards lying
uncollected at district headquarters, officials of
the ID Project have warned the owners of court
action and fines if they do not pick them up
before February 2016.
The officials noted most people who have not
picked their cards are from urban areas.
Of the 15.8 million cards disbursed, only 13.3
million have so far been issued.
