Uganda to recieve shs 555bn grant for secondary schools.

Uganda is set to receive shs555b from the World
Bank to improve secondary education. The grant
will see setting up secondary schools in all sub –
counties that are lacking.
In Some technical colleges, infrastructure and
staffing levels will be improved, the funds will
also be used to implement the new secondary
school curriculum that is scheduled to start in
2018 and offer bursaries to secondary school
girls.
Minister of state for primary education, John C.
Munyingo revealed this development yesterday.
He, alongside a team of officials from the
ministry of education are on a working visit in
Washington, DC, USA.
