Uganda Government to recapitalise Uganda Telecom Company .

The Government of Uganda is in talks with a Libyan parastatal to recapitalize Uganda Telecom Company according to the information, communication and technology minister John Nasasira.

Nasasira was reacting to the concerns by the committee of parliament on ICT chaired by Vincent Bagire that  Government finds money to invest in Uganda telecom since the company was doing badly and  its collapse will affect many businesses and the telecom sector  at large because it owes  other operators resources.

However Nasasira says that the Libyan parastatal is now making an investment plan.
