UCC directs URA to stop the entry of analogue TVs.

Uganda Communications Commission has asked Uganda  Revenue Authority (URA) to stop allowing  analogue TV’s into the country, the communications  body Executive Director, Godfrey Mutabazi  has revealed. He notes that they do not  want the country to become a dumping site.

Mutababzi has also warned telecom operators who  will not have registered their customers sim cards  in 30 days, to not only face a fine but could  have their licenses revoked.
