Six return presidential nomination forms.

Only 6 presidential aspirants of the 33 have
submitted nomination forms.
Independent Venansius Baryamureba, Abed
Bwanika, Joseph Mabirizi (fronted by 16
presidential aspirants), FDC’s, Dr. Besigye, Go
forward Pro-Change, Amama Mbabazi and NRM
also incumbent president Yoweri Museveni met
yesterday’s deadline set by the Electoral
Commission to return the nomination forms.
EC spokesperson, Jotham Taremwa confirms this
and says there are some aspirants new to the
game that asked for extra time. He says the
commission will look into it.
Presidential nominations are slated for 5th and
6th October at Namboole stadium.
