President Museveni to launch NRM party Manifesto.

President Yoweri Museveni will launch the NRM
party manifesto, which is meant to oil his 2016
campaign strategy, on November 5, Richard
Todwong, the party deputy secretary general has
said. Addressing a news conference at the NRM
party headquarters at Plot 10, Kyadondo Road,
Todwong said that preparations for the national
delegates conference, which is scheduled for
October 30 to November 2 at Mandela National
Stadium–Namboole, are underway. Over 15,000
delegates are expected to attend the conference
where Museveni, the party chairman will give a
key note address.
Todwong said that after the national conference,
supporters will escort Museveni for nomination
as the party flag bearer for the 2016 general
elections. The National Independent Electoral
Commission fixed November 3 as the nomination
day for Museveni. Todwong also said that
accreditation for the party national conference
will be conducted on October 30 at Kololo.
Opposition parties FDC, DP, JEEMA, CP and UPC
have been asked to send representatives to
attend the conference.
