Politicians attend prayers to honour Sheikh Kayongo

Dozens of muslims and political leaders gathered at the Kibuli mosque in Kampala to hold special prayers for the late Sheikh Zubair Kayongo.

The outspoken muslim cleric passed away last month in Tanzania.

Speakers paid glowing tribute to the cleric who was commonly referred to as ‘Supreme Mufti.
