Police warns opposition against violent activities in the city

The police operations commander Andrew Felix Kaweesi has warned opposition politicians that the force is prepared to deal with their resurrected violent activities intended to cause mayhem in the city. Speaking to journalists on Thursday morning at the police headquarters in Naguru, Kaweesi revealed that police had obtained intelligence that members ofopposition are planning organized activities in the Kampala aimed at breaching people’s peace. According to the police operations boss, before holding the activities, the opposition members will need to seek for permission from the concerned authorities or they indeed will be arrested and charged for holding unlawful rallies. He revealed that the opposition politicians were currently recruiting prostitutes as part of the activists and these he said would undress in public in a bid to portray police as human rights violators but noted that the force is ready for them.
