Police acusses FDC for hiring goons to undress.

Uganda Police have in a statement described
some FDC officials as hired goons. This follows
the weekend police operation to block FDC
officials along Masaka-Mbarara from their
continuing to their planned public rally in
Rukungiri district.
The operation saw violent arrests of the officials
with a one woman being undressed.
Police spokesperson, Fred Enanga says Fatuma
Naigaga “undressed herself, falsely claiming that
security undressed her.” Enaga says police
officers wanted to put her clothes back on, but
she refused. He says the incident will be
investigated.
Enaga notes some of the FDC officials are hired,
ready to undress or do anything to create an
impression that they are being harassed by
security personnel.
