Planned FDC rally in Rukungiri blocked on IGP orders.

The police have blocked a rally planned  by the opposition party Forum  for Democratic Change on grounds  that it had not been cleared by  the Electoral Commission.

The decision was reached after a meeting  by the Inspector General of Police  ,Kale Kayihura and top FDC party  leaders in Kampala.

In Rukungiri district ,the venue for the launch  of the first campaign rally by FDC  Flag-bearer Kizza Besigye,the party  is going ahead with its plans.
