Patients stranded as medics strike in Kamuli Hospital.

Patients at Kamuli main hospital(Mulago) are stranded following a sit down strike by medics there who are protesting delay by government to pay their salary arrears .

The strike has attracted the attention of Kamuli district leadership  including Chairperson  Proscovia Salaam Musumba  and RDC Dumba Moses who have been meeting with the medics to hammer out a solution .

The RDC has been speaking to our correspondent in Kamuli and says the meeting has been successful and the medics have agreed to resume work as their salary issues are going to be sorted in a matter of days .
