The committee has also recommended

that the 39 counties that were earlier

approved by Cabinet should be

approved

The number of MPs in the next

parliament could increase from 384 to

425 if parliament upholds the

recommendation of the public service

and Local government committee.

The committee has recommended

that the 39 counties that were earlier

approved by Cabinet should be

approved and passed by the electoral

commission as constituents.

The committee also approved the

creation of 10 more counties which

had earlier on been requested for in

2011.
