NRM to seek legal advise on way forward after Mbabazi picks nomination forms for presidency.

The National Resistance Movement
Party is weighing its options on how
to deal with its former Secretary
General, Amama Mbabazi, choosing
to pick presidential nomination papers
as an independent candidate.
Mbabazi is still, in principle, a
member of the NRM and as such his
decision to pick nomination forms
with the intention of running for
president as an independent
candidate creates a dilemma for the
party.
The party’s current Secretary General,
Justine Lumumba, says the matter
has been forwarded to NRM’s legal
team.
