A former Housing state minister and
member of the Central Executive
Committee, Captain Francis Babu
says the culture of ring-fencing seats
in the NRM party is alien.
His comments come at the time
there are fears that there is a re-
alignment within the NRM where the
old guard could face a monumental
challenge holding onto their coveted
seat against young Turks.
However, Babu says the old guard
should embrace competition.
