NRM denies scrapping Nomination fees as Nabakooba, Musician Babirye seek Party Nomination.
The ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party has denied reports that the Central Executive Committee, the party’s top policy organ, had advised the party to scrap the nomination fees for aspirants on the party ticket.

Chairman of the NRM Electoral Commission Dr. Tanga Odoi said t that the fees are still in force.The NRM party head office on Kyadondo in Kampala remains a beehive of activity as aspirants flock to pick nomination forms. Notable among those who showed up on Monday included popular gospel musician Judith Babirye.Sheila Nduhukire is keeping tabs on the NRM nomination process that ends on 31st July.
