NRM calls NEC meeting to discuss constitutional amendments.

The political implications of the

Constitutional Amendments Act is

one of the items on the agenda, to be

discussed by NRM’s Central

Executive Committee on Monday.

The act came into being after

parliament passed it earlier this

month, and it was later signed by the

President.

The matter of the four so-called

“rebel” MPs expelled from the party in

2013, will be discussed at the State

House Entebbe meeting.

President Museveni, also the

chairman of the NRM party, has been

holding meetings with the MPs, who

are in court over the same matter.
