requirement for voting
The Chairman of the Electoral
Commission, Dr. Badru Kiggundu,
explained that voters could choose to
carry their IDs for easy identification.

Dr. Badru Kiggundu has assured the
electorate that the national identity
card will not be a requirement for
someone to vote.
While addressing journalists at the
commission’s offices in Kampala,
Kiggundu explained that voters could
choose to carry their IDs for easy
identification.
Dr. Kiggundu also explained why DP
President Norbert Mao was denied
nomination to vie for the Gulu
Municipality seat.
