Museveni breaks silence about Tamale Mirundi. .

Presidential Candidate Yoweri Museveni has for the first time broken silence about his Senior Presidential adviser on Media Affairs Tamale Mirundi just a day after authorities lifted a suspension on his reappearance on radio and television stations.

Mirundi has for the past one week been in the media after the Uganda Communication Commission boss Godfrey Mutabazi halted his Radio and TV programs for using abusive language to attack government officials, Mengo, the Catholic Church and other members of the public. Responding to a question from journalists today at the Soroti state lodge, Museveni said that though he is not well conversed with what has been said by Mirundi, speaking ill about others is not good.

The president however clarified that he would be looking into the matter to get well versed with what has been said as the bad words being spoken by the self-acclaimed barking dog of the president. Mutabazi on Monday allowed Mirundi to return to the airwaves after receiving assurance that he would avoid offensive language.
