Museveni and Besigye pull out of presidential debate.

President Museveni won’t participate in the Jan
15 televised presidential debate because he will
be attending to his supporters in Bushenyi and
Mitooma.
Forum for Democratic Change presidential
candidate Kizza Besigye says he will not participate
either because Museveni “who is key” in the
debate isn’t attending.
Besigye has asked the organisers of the debate
to reschedule to another date convenient enough
for Museveni as for them they are ever ready.
