Mubajje commends presidential candidate Museveni.

The Mufti of Uganda Sheikh Ramadhan Mubajje
has commended Presidential candidate Yoweri Museveni
for being a leader of actions but not words.
Mubajje said that Museveni has fulfilled his
pledges to the Muslim community by donating
vehicles to district kadhis countrywide, with the
most recent donation being a minibus and sh10m
to Kayunga Muslim District Council.
He made the remarks at the Uganda Muslim
Supreme Council (UMSC) offices during the
celebrations of Mawlid (the birth of Prophet
Muhammad) that was attended by numerous
Muslims.
He urged Muslims to be thankful to the president
for his continued contributions to Muslim unity
and development.
Mubajje called for calm as Uganda prepares for
the 2016 polls.
He appealed to politicians to desist from
violence or incitement adding that incidents like
the one that recently happened in Ntungamo
should not be repeated.
