MP Nabila withdraws candidature .

Kampala woman MP Nagayi Nabila Ssempala has pulled out of the FDC secretary general race just a few hours to the election.
Nabila had declared her pull out this morning at Speke hotel in kampala citing serious irregularities in the ongoing party grass root elections.
“ I don’t have faith in the entire electoral process, I have always reported malpractices to the party electoral commission bosses but they have turned a deaf ear, therefore I will not waste my time to contest as secretary general because some people intent to rig this election” says Nabila.
In the FDC secretary general race now is Budadiri west MP Nathan Nandaala Mafabi also former FDC presidential candidate and Terego County Mp Kasiano Wadri.
The FDC election (delegates Conference) is taking place at the Uganda Manufacturers association conference hall.
At the FDC delegates conference most elective positions will be contested apart from that of the party president Mugisha Muntu whose term in office expires in two years ahead.
At UMA hall the place has been decorated with the party colors and campaign posters for several candidates vying for different positions are vivid.
Police has also been adequately deployed around the venue to ensure law and order.
