Minister calls for reduction of train fare.

Reduction of the costs of commuter train fare
may help popularize the new means of
transport in Kampala City.
The minister for works and transport, Eng John
Byabagambi’s concern is that the shs1, 500
charged for a one way ticket between Kampala
and Namanve may be too expensive for
commuters.
It’s been a week since the launch of the
passenger commuter services but turn up is
still very low as people continue to opt for
taxis and buses.
