Mbabazi’s lawyer say EC has no right to ban their client from holding rallies.

Mbabazi’s lawyer Fred Muwema has

told journalists in Kampala that the

Electoral Commission is acting

outside the law by deeming

Mbabazi’s ongoing consultations

illegal.

Muwema said Mbabazi’s team is in

the process of instituting criminal

proceedings against the Electoral

Commission spokes person Jotham

Taremwa and Sam Rwakojo the

Secretary to the commission.

According to Muwema, the EC’s

declaration incites the public.
