Mao should organise meetings and give acountability to DP members – Lukwago

Kampala Lord Mayor Elias Lukwago has challenged DP President Norbert Mao to organize meetings and give accountability to DP members instead of gagging and frustrating efforts of party members.

Lukwago made these remarks while addressing Truth for Justice Members who had gathered at Matiya Mulumba Church Old Kampala as they had been blocked by police.

He says that the recent acts of police gagging and blocking DP meeting is masterminded by the state and its henchmen in the democratic party leadership, he has called upon Mao to organize mass meeting to explain what went wrong than blocking initiatives intended to find solution to their miss deeds.

Lukwago further expressed disappointment in the DP President Mao’s weekly program which he exploits in  media he also vowed to fight tooth and nail and ensure that they resist Mao and colleagues from letting the party in the hands of President Museveni and the NRM.

Lubaga South Member of Parliament Hon Kato Lubwama while addressing TJ members at the same venue warned of possible violent moments soon.
