Makerere University council to discuss 100 %tuition fee payment policy.

Makerere University council is to hold a meeting today  to discuss the 100% fees payment policy among  other issues.

The meeting follows a students’ strike yesterday over  the policy that dictates that all students should  clear all the tuition fees in the first six weeks  of the semester.

The students demand that the council entirely scraps  the policy.

The students’ Guild President, David Bala has called  on students to remain calm as they wait for  the final decision of council.
