Makerere and Kyambogo Universities set graduation date.

Makerere and Kyambogo Universities have set
dates for their graduation ceremonies, due to
take place next month.

Marion Alina, the
assistant spokesperson, Makerere University has
comfirmed that the University’s 66th graduation
ceremony will last four days, starting January
19th to 22nd. Kyambogo’s will last two days,
from January 27th to 29th. Prof. Ezra Suruma,
Makerere University’s new Chancellor is
expected to preside over the University’s 66th
graduation ceremony, as he will have been
installed by that time. Over 20,000 students are
expected to graduate from Makerere University,
according to the tentative graduation lists.
According to a notice from the Makerere
University academic registrar, prospective
graduands are required to have successfully
cleared with their Academic units, halls of
residents, university library, hospital, police and
finance department.

They are also required to
pay a graduation fee of Sh110,000, in order to
receive a graduation booklet, invitation cards and
accreditation to attend the ceremony.
