Lukwago to announce next move.

Embattled Kampala Lord Mayor, Erias Lukwago is
today expected to announce his next move after
government made a U-turn on the KCCA Bill.
Yesterday, Government withdrew the KCCA
amendment Bill 2015 which sought to change
the election of the Kampala Lord Mayor from
adult suffrage to the council.
The Electoral Commission will now kick off the
nomination exercise on 18 to 20 November,
following a meeting with minister for Kampala
Affairs, Frank Tumwebaze.
Lukwago says he will meet a number of
stakeholders today to announce his next move.
