Lukwago arrested over electoral reforms campaign

Kampala Lord Mayor, Erias Lukwago has been arrested and former FDC leader Dr Kizza Besigye’s car towed by the police.
Mr Lukwago was arrested on Thursday morning and driven to unknown destination while Mr Besigye is seated in the car that is being towed away by police’s teargas truck.

This was after police led by Kampala South Regional Police Commander, Sirajje Bakaleke blocked a group of opposition politicians from accessing sharing hall Nsambya.

Besigye and Lukwago are some of the opposition figures who had turned up at Nsambya sharing hall to hold further discussions on the electoral reforms.
