KCCA to introduce fees on cars entering the city Centre.

Vehicles accessing the city will by next year start paying a road user fee levied by Kampala Capital City Authority.
The fees collected from the vehicles will be
allocated towards rehabilitation and construction
of the roads. Charges are expected to be levied
according to the vehicle weight and distance
traveled.
KCCA Executive Director, Jennifer Musisi says
this is in a bid to reduce traffic congestion in the
city center.
Musisi didn’t however say where the user fees
will be charged, saying the final details will be
released at the beginning of January, 2016.
