Kayihura denies contribution in the formation of militia groups.

The police chief General Kale Kayihura denies to have any contribution in the formation of militia groups in the country in the name of crime preventers.

There has been a concern from the public over the way in which some individuals have Started training young people as crime preventers as we prepare for the 2016 general elections something that created fear before the Ugandans.

Kakooza Mutale and Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago were quoted publically confessing as have been training youg people in preparation to protect their vote in 2016.

Speaking to Presidential aspirants at EC offices in Kampala, Kayihura vows to fight militia groups that operate outside the law.

Meanwhile General Kayihura tells us that police has the mandate to train crime preventers as provided for by the law.
