Katikkiro opens 4th Lukkiko

The Katikkiro of Buganda Charles Peter Mayiga thinks vocational studies alone will not be the solution to unemployment but says that employment is created by economic development because where development is jobs are created.
He has been giving his remarks while opening the 4th Lukkiko of the 22nd session at Bulange Mengo where he read a progress report for his two year service as the Katikkiro of Buganda Kingdom.
He says that there is need to dialogue on where all pupils will study skilling for job creation otherwise other servants in various administrative structures are relevant for development and job creation.
Addressing the same forum he has discouraged the public from vandalizing road sign posts as it leads to unnecessary accidents adding that implementers should also consider using avuncular and Swahiri on these signposts as it is done in other countries because when they use English alone it’s a problem to some people who can’t read it.
