Katikkiro Mayiga cautions KCCA over Kingdom historical sites.

The katikkiro of Buganda Charles Peter Mayiga has criticised KCCA for destroying the historical background of various locations in the city.

Mayiga while addressing a gathering which turned up to tour the progress of beautifying Kabaka’s Lake on Ndeeba Kampala says that the Authority must be cautious when changing the historical background attached to some roads and places because the names attached to these places were intended to maintain the historical backgrounds.

He has cautioned public institutions like KCCA and others to work with the Kingdom whenever dealing with some historical sites.
